More about Swineherd
Swineherd was completed during Gauguin’s stay in Pont-Aven in France.  It depicts a young man herding his two pigs with the rolling hills and a village in the background.  In the village, rooftops of houses can be seen just below the hill along with a tall church spire near the center.  The painting is now at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
