San Giorgio Maggiore At Dusk

0 out of 5

Monet almost did not paint this particular artwork. He hesitated to paint it because it had been painted many times by other artists. It turned out to be one of Monet’s most famous paintings.
The painting was featured in the 1999 movie The Thomas Crown Affair. In the film, the painting was shown at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The museum however, does not own the painting.
