Mulberry Tree
Of all the paintings that he sent to his brother Theo in December 1889, The Mulberry Tree was Van Gogh’s favorite.
The painting demonstrates Van Gogh’s knowledge of color theory. The complexity of the colors of the leaves make the trees more impressive.I68

Saturn Devouring His Son
0 out of 5As one of the fourteen in Goya’s Black Paintings (paintings directly created onto the walls of the artist’s home sometime between 1819 and 1823), it is a great piece to own since the artist himself did not intend to show these paintings to the public.

Belshazzar’s Feast
0 out of 5A Rembrandt is a must-have in any personal collection – he was one of the greatest painters and printmakers in Europe, and the most significant in Dutch history.
If you love detailed paintings, Belshazzar’s Feast is a great example. The artist used distinctive features on the main character – from his gold and silver costume, to the chains and turban as adornments. The supporting characters lack the same extravagance, but the details on their clothing and headpieces and the objects on the table contribute to the story.
This a great conversation piece especially among art lovers who are fascinated by paintings that tell a story and convey emotions.Select optionsQuick View
